Build your first Form

This walks you through creating a simple form with a couple of fields, published and ready to collect real responses.

1. Create the project. From your Dashboard, click New Project, name it, and choose Form Builder.
2. Add fields. In the Build tab, add a Short Text field for a name, an Email field, and a Multiple Choice field with a couple of options, add options to it from the inspector.
3. Check the live preview. The Build tab's preview shows your form exactly as a respondent would see it as you add fields.
4. Set your form's title. Go to Settings and give your form a Form Title and, optionally, custom submit button text and confirmation message.
5. Publish it. Go to the Publish tab, choose an address, and click Publish.
6. Try it for real. Open the published link yourself and submit a real response.
7. Check the response. Go to the Responses tab, your test submission should be there.

Turn this into a video

A short script you can record with simple screen-capture software (OBS Studio, Loom, etc.) while following the steps above:

1. Create a new Form Builder project and add 3 fields of different types.
2. Show the live preview updating as fields are added.
3. Publish the form and copy its link.
4. Open the published link in another tab and submit a response live.
5. Switch back and show the response appearing in the Responses tab.

Keep it under 3-5 minutes, screen-record your own editor while narrating, viewers learn faster watching a real build than reading steps alone.
