Confirming it's really you
If your account has a password, you'll be asked to enter it. If your account was created with Google sign-in and never had a password set, you'll instead be asked to type DELETE to confirm, since there's no password to check in that case.
What actually happens
- Your account is deactivated immediately: you're signed out, you can no longer sign in, and your email cannot be used to register a new account in the meantime.
- Any active subscription is cancelled immediately, you won't be charged again.
- Your account and every project you own, including its files and any connected custom domain, are scheduled for permanent deletion 3 days later, not right away.
That 3-day window is a deliberate grace period, not a limitation. It exists because a delete request can come from two very different situations, a genuine mistake or a compromised account being wiped by someone else, and both deserve a real chance to be caught before anything is permanently gone. If either happens to you, contact support within those 3 days. Restoring an account during this window is handled by our support team directly, it is not something you can undo yourself from the account, since a compromised account is exactly the situation where letting whoever is currently signed in reverse it would be the wrong default.
What we keep anyway
Billing and invoice records are kept for as long as required by tax/accounting law, regardless of account deletion, this is a legal obligation, not something we can turn off. See our Privacy Policy for the full retention breakdown.
Tip: Export or back up anything you want to keep before the 3-day grace period ends, once it does, there is genuinely no way for us to recover a deleted project or account, not even on request.
